Born in the Vosges region of France, Vincent’s love for photography began when he was 12 years old, spending much of his youth capturing wildlife in the forests surrounding his home with his trusty Nikon FE2. Having a photographer in the family inspired him to pick up a camera, following in his father’s footsteps from an early age.

As a photographer I’m driven by curiosity, a thirst for adventure, and the ambition to realise my childhood dreams of encountering my favourite wildlife.

When I first started out, I had a very small budget, but very big ideas and I was determined to get the best shots I possibly could. This still rings true, but I have my trusty Nikon gear to thank for helping me keep the faith.

One of my all-time favourite cameras for wildlife photography is the Nikon Z 9. It has a faster frame rate than previous models, a fantastic ISO range, and a quiet shutter release mode, which is imperative when shooting wildlife in their natural habitat.

This, paired with my love of using big lenses, means I feel pretty much unstoppable when going into any environment. The trust I have in my gear, for example, the NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S and NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lenses, is invaluable. They have a fantastic reach, allowing me to take detailed photographs of my subjects without disturbing them – which for me, is key in everything I do.
